But I'm hoping to change that. I have a whole bunch of pictures sitting unfinished on the hard-drive that I desperately need to complete. A lot of them have been gathering dust for a couple of years now. Some of them are ideas I'd like to just go back and re-do. Others are solid pictures that just need to be finished and polished up a bit.

I'm also trying to move my art in a new direction. I've been wanting to do a series of FF7 illustrations for a long time, but to do that I need to study a lot more than I have been. I've already started moving away from the simple cartoon style I was using before into something more realistic and... painterly? Anyway, I hope to start completing some of these old pictures soon. I hope my watchers will be pleasantly surprised with the results!

Also, I know my mail has piled up like crazy. Real life has been really crazy lately, and my base of friends isn't really deviantart anymore, it's over on Insanejournal. And no, I'm not giving out the link to my ij here!

So, this journal is to sort of announce a fresh start, though I probably won't start posting work for a while yet because I have to finish it first.
